About Attorney Profile Matt Farr

Matt Farr was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. He grew up during the oil boom in the 1970’s and 80’s. As an exchange student in 1983, Matt traveled more than 9,000 miles to Paraguay in South America. This proved to be a life-changing experience for Matt, who had to master a new language and learn a new culture. After high school, Matt studied at the University of Colorado, Boulder on an ROTC scholarship.
After graduating, Matt was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and attended special missile training at Vandenberg AFB in California. Later, he was assigned to the 321st. Strategic Missile Squadron at F.E. Warren AFB in Wyoming where he progressed in rank. He later relocated to Hanscom AFB where he worked as an Acquisition Test Engineer.
After leaving the military in 1993, Matt earned his Master of Science degree in 2001. He was a software engineer for several businesses in Boston. In 2004, he and his wife, Maritza, relocated to Orlando, Florida. They have two children.
Matt is also an avid instrument-rated private pilot. Mr. Farr serves in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and has more than 20 years of service. He is a Lieutenant Colonel with the 66th Air Base Wing, Hanscom Air Force Base.
